Spells

During the course of the game, the player may see a need to exercise his/her magic powers. Spells are cast using mana and normally have a minimum magic level and character level.

Elves, Magic Users, Necromancers, Archers, and Monks are the only classes who start off with Mana Bolt, also it costs 1/5 the buying cost of the spells to purchase them. All other classes start with All or Nothing. After this point, players must purchase their first/next 6-7 spells from trading posts at 400,400 and past.

Teleporters and Cloaks can be bought at 400,400 and post under the Section: Other. Thieves start with a
cloak. Elves, Magic Users, Necromancers, Archers, and Monks can buy these items for half the price as well.

When used: combat

Has a chance of working based on monster experience and character magic level. When it works, it hits the monster just enough to kill it. If it fails, the monster's quickness and strength double.

Hits the monster based upon the amount of mana used and magic level.

Name: Increase Might

When used: combat

Used during a combat with monsters. Increases strength for that battle only.

Name: Cloak
Magic level: 20 or Thief
Character level: 7 or Thief
Buying Cost: 2000

When used: normal play

Cloak prevents monsters from finding the character, as well as hiding the player's coordinates from others, who don't have air that is. While cloaked, players cannot collect mana, hunt monsters, enter trading posts or other objects in the realm, use special powers or teleport.

Temporarily increases the player's quickness.

Throws up a force field to protect from damage. The shield is added to actual energy level and its strength is based on the character's magic level. Normally, damage occurs first to the force field, and then to the players actual energy.

Allows the player to move with much more faster than the compass or the move option, but it comes with a price of a certain mana depending on distance. This spell is more efficient as magic level increases.

Transports the monster away from the player. Success is based upon player's magic level and the monster's experience. If successful, there is a half chance that the monster will drop the treasure it was carrying. If it backfires, the player may be transported instead.

"Freezes" the monster by putting its speed in the negatives. The monster will slowly wake up. The success is based upon the player's magic level and the monster's experience. If it fails, nothing happens.

Transforms the monster randomly into one of the 104 monsters from the monster data file which if you click here you can view the data in a html file. This spell can fail and backfire in inter-terminal combat.

When used: Only IT Combat

Gives the opponent 2 sin. Also sometimes can backfire and give the caster 2 sin instead.

Rolls another chance to cast luckout.

Name: Scare
Magic level: 2000

When used: Monster combat Only

Scares the attacking monster sometimes.

Name: Reduce Speed
Magic level: 3000
Character level: none
Mana used: 12000
When used: combat

Reduces the opponent's speed by 1 permenantly. Can be casted until the opponent has only 1 speed.

Name: Sap Strength
Magic level: 7000
Character level: none
Mana used: 30000
When used: combat

Saps some of the Opponent's base strength permenantly.

Name: Kaioken
Magic level: 40000
Character level: none
Mana used: 90000
When used: Not available yet for it keeps crashing game due to its awesome power.

Casts the ultimate attack, Kaioken. It can destroy the players body sometimes but also can fail. Sometimes it is successful and wields ultimate strength, health and speed.
